چکیده

Abstract This paper presents an unified mathematical and computational framework for mechanics-coupled “anomalous” transport phenomena in porous media. The anomalous diffusion is mainly due to variable fluid flow rates caused by spatially temporally varying permeability. type of behaviour described a fractional pore pressure equation. transient significantly affected the order operators. In solve 3D consolidation problems large scale structures, equation implemented finite element adopting discretised formulation derivatives given Grunwald–Letnikov (GL). Here commercial software Abaqus through open-source UMATHT subroutine. similarity between pressure, heat hydrogen also discussed show that it possible use coupled thermal-stress analysis problems.

A Hybridized Crouziex-Raviart Nonconforming Finite Element and Discontinuous Galerkin Method for a Two-Phase Flow in the Porous Media

In this study, we present a numerical solution for the two-phase incompressible flow in the porous media under isothermal condition using a hybrid of the linear lower-order nonconforming finite element and the interior penalty discontinuous Galerkin (DG) method. This hybridization is developed for the first time in the two-phase modeling and considered as the main novelty of this research. The p...

Combined finite element - particles discretisation for simulation of transport-dispersion in porous media

Combining finite element together with particle methods provide one of the best compromise for solving transport problem in porous media. Saturated or non-saturated flows are determined by boundary condition and the media permeability. For real terrain, permeability can consist in various almost constant and imbricated zones with complex shapes. Thus, it is of some interest that the boundary be...

Adaptive finite element simulation of Stokes flow in porous media

The Stokes problem describes flow of an incompressible constant-viscosity fluid when the Reynolds number is small so that inertial and transient-time effects are negligible. The numerical solution of the Stokes problem requires special care, since classical finite element discretization schemes, such as piecewise linear interpolation for both the velocity and the pressure, fail to perform. Even...

passivity in waiting for godot and endgame: a psychoanalytic reading

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
